Jubilate!
The "Jubilate!!!" program - deliberately with two exclamation marks - makes you sit up and take notice, because for the first time the vox nova and Sonat Voxwhich both belong to the Association of German Concert Choirs (VDKC), are presenting a joint project for the first time! This one is marked by three anniversaries:
- The VDKC can look back on its 100th anniversary,
- the vox nova on the 15th anniversary and
- Sonat Vox on the 10th anniversary
If that's not a reason to celebrate!
The program spans a wide range from festive baroque music to contemporary compositions and mixes rarely heard pieces with the highlights of a cappella music in a unique way, juxtaposes different European compositional styles of the respective eras and allows the sound of the different instrumentations and in the polychoral style to be explored. The conductor is Justus Merkel.
