Rococo Festival 2025
The concert at the Rococo Festival in Ansbach will be a unique fusion of musical splendor and light art. Inspired by the rococo motif of transience and eternity, an initially gloomy theme will be cast in a positive light.
Light installations, which pick up on the tonal colors, content and aesthetics of the rococo period in their design, create a unique atmosphere in the church and lend the works an additional dimension. The vocal music, performed by singers from the Sonat-Vox chamber choir, will take up and permeate the entire space. The magnificent selection of works includes baroque compositions, such as those by the Bach family, as well as pieces with a regional connection, such as those by Johann Pachelbel. The works lead the audience thematically from sombre to brighter tone colors and culminate in a positive concert ending. In some cases, the church space is involved in a multi-choral manner. The combination of choir singers and three basso continuo instrumentalists guarantees an exceptional tonal quality.
The concert becomes a firework display of vocal art that fills the room and harmonizes perfectly with the light art. The audience can expect a unique experience that ranges from the most intimate moments to the full unfolding of the sound.
